“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me —the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace” Acts 20:24

God create us and puts us on earth for a purpose – to accomplish His will on earth. He has a race for you to run and He wants you to run it with other faithful believers. The Bible said that blessings come from doing what God says (Matt 7:24). Here are five characteristics of a kingdom builder and how you can apply it into your life.

(1) Building an unmovable foundation. The best way is to never stop learning God’s Word. The minute you stop learning, you stop growing. Plant your root in Christ and let Him be the foundation. We learn fastest and learn best when we teach it to others. Every time you teach it to others, you internalize it deeper (2 Tim 2:2). (2) Demonstrate love. Work willingly at whatever you do and don’t just do the minimum that will get you by. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you’re serving is Christ. Being a follower of Jesus doesn’t cover up bad work. (Col 3:23-24). (3) Choose the right companion. Take ownership of the church family and choose to build God’s kingdom in partnership with others. Cultivate godly relationship and influence. Reject any discord and disunity in the body of Christ. Begin to let God use you to coach and mentor others (Eph 2:22). (4) Commit to God’s divine calling. Make God’s agenda of making disciples the greatest agenda in your life. Invest into the kingdom of God. Put your effort, time, finance on that is eternal. Never give up and never be discouraged (Matt 24:14). (5) Show courage. We are under attack for religion liberty, morality values, and family institution. We cannot afford fold our arms watch. There is desperate need for man and woman of courage to know the time and act accordingly to God’s justice and with His love (Acts 5:29)

As we celebrate our 80th Anniversary, will you make this your commitment and join hand with all other believers and make this celebration counts?
